Summer Camp

Free Online Summer Camp

Join us for Long Beach, My home Town: A Musical! At JBCT’s online summer camp students will have the opportunity to explore the history of our city through stories and song. Classes will include theater games, singing, story telling and song writing. Campers will also learn some of the early 20th century songs associated with Long Beach.

Camp runs July 6th to August 28th. Everyone will meet on Mondays from 11am – 12pm, campers will be assigned a smaller working group that will meet Tuesday through Friday for 30 minute sessions as well (see time options when you register). All groups will be announced once we have a complete roster. Campers will also have access to our learning portal that will have additional learning materials that students can do on their own time at home. Camp is open to children ages 6 and up.

This camp and all of the other free programming that JBCT facilitates during the year is brought to you in part by grants from The Herrmann Foundation, The Rudolph J. And Daphne A. Munzer Foundation and personal donations. Due to COVID19 school closures, our free after school program has not been able to provide its services to the community. Funding has been reallocated to help provide our free learning materials and this free summer program.

The Jewel Box Children’s Theater Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization creating equitable theater and music programs that are accessible and inclusive for all children.
